Today's update involves Internet Explorer 6 SP1. Even if you do not use this browser, it is recommended that you get this update. This update involves fixing the buffers that can cause IE6 and the IE6 Engine to crash. It is a problem with some of the IE6 SP1 code. Users of IE6 SP2 / SP3 on Windows XP are not affected if they installed the official Microsoft Update. After the update is applied, the code will be fixed.
To download the update for Windows 2000, click here. It replaces the old version of this patch in the "Windows 2000 Update Pack #1". Just install right over the old one - no uninstalling needed.
